Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Muskegon that are seeking Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
- Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates.
- Adhere to established calibration procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address equipment issues and improve calibration processes.
- Maintain and organize calibration tools, test equipment, and spare parts inventory.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a related technical role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using and calibrating a wide range of measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, multimeters, temperature sensors).
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI Z540).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated calibration systems.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
- Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments on equipment during calibration.
