Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and verification of a wide range of measurement equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instruments.
• Document calibration results, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Develop and optimize calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain calibration standards and ensure their proper handling and storage.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience performing calibrations and preventative maintenance on various manufacturing equipment.
• Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3).
• Proficiency in using and troubleshooting a wide range of test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators, temperature baths).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated calibration systems.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret and apply advanced metrology concepts.
