Salary Range: $55,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis mills.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Optimize existing CNC programs for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Perform first-article inspections and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to refine designs and processes.
• Maintain and update program documentation and revision control.
• Ensure programs adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM) for generating G-code.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with various CNC machine controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC mill programming for multi-axis machines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis programming.
• Familiarity with a variety of CAM software beyond the primary system (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360).
• Proficiency in G-code editing and manual programming for optimization.
• Ability to design fixtures and tooling in a CAD environment.
• Prior experience in a lead or mentoring role for junior programmers.
