Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Lansing seeking CNC Machinists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operation and product quality.
• Select and load appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials into machines.
• Document production activities, including completed parts and any machine adjustments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code.
• Demonstrated expertise in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong understanding of G and M codes for programming and machine operation.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Experience with various materials, including metals and plastics, and their machining properties.
