Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code to ensure accurate part production.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Select and replace tooling as needed, adjusting offsets and parameters to maintain part specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and G-code
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Experience with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM)
• Welding experience or certification (e.g., MIG, TIG)
• Forklift operation certification
• Proficiency in using various metrology tools beyond basic calipers/micrometers (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)
• Prior experience in a lead or mentoring role
