Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hart that are seeking skilled CNC Machinists. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code to produce parts.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Select and replace tooling as needed, ensuring proper tool offsets and wear compensation.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Experience with G-code and M-code programming and editing.
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, and material properties.
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM) for program generation and optimization.
• Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machinery.
• Forklift certification and experience operating overhead cranes.
• A strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
