Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Bookkeeper / Office Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll, including tax filings and benefit administration, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized physical and digital office files, records, and confidential company information.
- Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating facility maintenance.
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including scheduling, correspondence, and report generation.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in bookkeeping/accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Proven ability to manage multiple office functions, including administrative support and vendor relations.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting beyond basic functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and their impact on financial records
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing operations
- Experience with payroll processing and related compliance (e.g., multi-state, union contracts)
