Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Rockford that are seeking Bookkeepers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection efforts.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and submit sales tax returns.
• Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and/or other common accounting software.
• Demonstrated understanding of inventory accounting principles (e.g., COGS, work-in-progress).
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience with payroll processing and related tax regulations.
