Salary Range: $61,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes for production.
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine or tooling issues during operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and technical drawings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and report larger repair needs.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and technical drawings
• Ability to perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds for various materials
• Experience with machine setup, offsets, and troubleshooting

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM, SPC).
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Prior experience operating multiple machines simultaneously.
