Salary Range: $49,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Zeeland that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Process high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts for past-due accounts.
• Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile daily cash receipts.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., CAPA) or Receivable.
