Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of finishing operators, providing training and performance feedback.
• Ensure all finished products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
• Plan and coordinate daily finishing operations to meet production schedules and output targets.
• Identify and implement improvements to finishing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all company safety policies and regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing finishing department.
• In-depth knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, final assembly).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet output and quality targets.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards and inspection techniques for finished products.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop production team members.
• Familiarity with advanced quality control tools or methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
