Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across office and production environments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems for manufacturing-specific systems, including shop floor terminals, scanning devices, and production software.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, workstations, and peripherals.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors and track resolution.
• Document all support requests, resolutions, and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on critical IT infrastructure and end-user devices to minimize production downtime.
• Assist with user account management, access permissions, and basic network troubleshooting.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity in a professional environment.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications (e.g., ERP systems).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and manufacturing-specific peripherals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi) and IT security best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Experience supporting industrial hardware such as barcode scanners, label printers, or ruggedized devices.
• Basic understanding of operational technology (OT) environments and IT/OT convergence.
• Knowledge of common manufacturing processes or shop floor operations.
