Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Charlotte seeking experienced Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, matching purchase orders and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices based on completed sales orders and shipping documentation.
• Process and apply customer payments accurately, reconciling daily cash receipts.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging report and conduct collections activities for overdue accounts.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) ensuring proper authorization and vendor terms are met.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for both AP and AR transactions.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations for AP/AR accounts.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to process high volumes of invoices, payments, and collections accurately.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-level ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles relevant to a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with international transactions, multi-currency invoices, or import/export documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements for AP/AR workflows.
