Salary Range: $44,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and matching to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner for manufactured goods.
• Apply customer payments to open invoices, reconcile customer accounts, and manage accounts receivable aging.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment issues promptly.
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) for vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Perform collections activities on past due accounts, communicating with customers to secure payments.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations for AP/AR accounts.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation and month-end close processes.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent communication skills for vendor and customer interactions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with manufacturing-specific financial processes or inventory accounting.
• Experience with automated invoice processing or expense management systems.
