Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine calibration, adjustment, and preventative maintenance on a variety of measurement and test equipment.
  • Document calibration results accurately and maintain comprehensive calibration records and databases.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning precision measurement equipment.
  • Develop, review, and revise calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Adhere strictly to quality system requirements, including ISO/IEC 17025, GMP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Manage calibration schedules and ensure all equipment is calibrated within specified intervals.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing calibration records and demonstrating compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in electronics, metrology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience performing calibration, testing, or maintenance of industrial instrumentation.
  • Solid understanding of metrology principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and measurement uncertainty.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting a wide range of test and measurement equipment (e.g., electrical, pressure, temperature).
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately document calibration results and utilize calibration management software.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
  • Experience with automated calibration software platforms (e.g., Beamex, Fluke Met/Cal).
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory accreditation standards.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs or troubleshooting on test equipment.
