Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced quality planning methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP) for new product introductions.
• Drive complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for critical quality issues.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC), Gage R&R, and process capability studies to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor supplier quality performance metrics and drive supplier improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate and lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D problem-solving.
• Design and implement robust inspection plans, control plans, and FMEAs to mitigate risks and ensure product quality.
• Conduct internal and external quality system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D problem-solving.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, with practical experience in Lean manufacturing principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
• Experience with AIAG or VDA quality standards and methodologies
