Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, inspection methods, and test procedures for new and existing products.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies to enhance product and process quality.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to define quality requirements and ensure successful new product introductions (NPI).
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory standards.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and report on key quality metrics to support data-driven decision making.
• Provide technical guidance and training on quality tools, methodologies, and standards to engineering and production personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in core quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP) and advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma).
• Strong statistical analysis skills for process control, capability studies, and design of experiments (DOE).
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) development and implementation.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
• Experience in supplier quality development, auditing, and PPAP approval
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
• Demonstrated experience leading Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping)
