Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a portfolio of products.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to gather market intelligence.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes of forecast errors, and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by presenting demand plans and insights.
  • Manage and optimize demand planning software and tools to improve forecasting efficiency.
  • Assess the impact of demand changes on inventory levels and production schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Familiarity with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and inventory management principles.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced forecasting software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis) beyond basic ERP functionality.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and/or SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies within a supply chain context.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to or lead S&OP process enhancements.
