Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of a production team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Monitor production processes to identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Train and mentor team members on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Allocate tasks and resources effectively to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Conduct regular performance feedback and evaluations for team members.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and optimize productivity.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output and quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including direct experience supervising a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and guide employees.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in production scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• - Basic understanding of P&L statements and budget management
• - Proficiency in a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
