Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations according to blueprints and specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate records of welding activities and production data.
• Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in welding technology or related field preferred.
• Proven experience with various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques for welds.
• Certification from a recognized welding body (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2) is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like MT, PT, or UT
• - Experience with robotic welding systems
• - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
• - Certified welder in multiple processes (e.g., GTAW, GMAW, FCAW)
