Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations according to blueprints and specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities and production data.
- Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in welding technology or related field preferred.
- Proven experience with various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques for welds.
- Certification from a recognized welding body (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2) is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like MT, PT, or UT
- - Experience with robotic welding systems
- - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
- - Certified welder in multiple processes (e.g., GTAW, GMAW, FCAW)
