Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
• Accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments using company inventory management systems.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for transit.
• Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Maintain an organized and clean shipping and receiving area, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external carriers to schedule deliveries and pickups.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer software
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• - Forklift certification
• - Familiarity with hazardous materials shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA)
