Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate stamping presses, dies, and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor press operations to ensure efficient production and product quality.
• Perform routine quality checks on manufactured parts using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve press malfunctions or production issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete all required documentation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up various manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, punch, brake).
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Adherence to safety regulations and commitment to quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodology
• Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with advanced quality inspection tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)
