Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and supervise shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and feedback.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent receiving, put-away, and shipping processes.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with quality standards.
• Schedule and manage inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing routes and carriers.
• Ensure proper documentation for all shipments, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures within the shipping and receiving department.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and shipping software.
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations, documentation, and logistics best practices.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with hazardous materials handling and documentation
• - Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
• - Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• - Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory management
