Salary Range: $50,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations.
• Train and mentor shipping and receiving team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent receiving and put-away procedures.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring safe and efficient practices.
• Manage the organization and cleanliness of the shipping and receiving areas.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the department.
• Reconcile shipping documents with physical counts and address discrepancies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience supervising a team.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, documentation, and logistics.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• - Proficiency in inventory management software beyond basic data entry.
• - Forklift certification or experience operating specialized material handling equipment.
• - Basic understanding of customs regulations and international shipping documentation.
