Salary Range: $61,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor junior machinists in best practices, machine operation, and safety protocols.
- Perform complex setups, operate, and troubleshoot various CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Ensure all manufactured parts meet strict quality standards and specifications through precise inspection.
- Optimize CNC programs for efficiency, accuracy, and material utilization.
- Diagnose and resolve machining issues, machine malfunctions, and production bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing all shop safety procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) in precision machining, including both CNC and manual operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints, GD&T, and utilizing various metrology tools.
- Proven ability to program, set up, and operate a wide range of machine tools (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders).
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role, including training junior machinists, scheduling, and overseeing workflow.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for machining processes, tooling, and equipment issues to optimize production.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in advanced CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM) for complex surfacing and multi-axis programming.
- Experience with CMM operation and programming for precision inspection and quality control.
- Demonstrated application of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to optimize machining processes.
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills for CNC machinery.
