Salary Range: $53,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, program, and set up advanced CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Inspect and verify the quality of machined parts to meet precise specifications.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior machinists and apprentices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues to minimize downtime.
- Optimize machining processes and tooling for efficiency and improved output.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage the workflow of the machining team.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a precision machinist, including significant CNC machine operation and setup.
- Proven proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, CAM software) and interpreting complex engineering blueprints.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or machine shop setting.
- Expertise in precision measurement, GD&T, and quality control processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machining processes and equipment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software for complex geometries or multi-axis machining.
- Experience with CMM operation and advanced metrology techniques (e.g., statistical process control).
- Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of tool design principles and advanced tooling selection for specialized materials or applications.
- Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or diagnostic troubleshooting.
