Maintenance Technician | Muskegon, MI

Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and execute corrective maintenance.
• Install, calibrate, and test new production equipment and machinery.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Relevant technical degree or certification in a maintenance-related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• HVAC system maintenance experience.
