Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and molds for production runs.
• Configure and fine-tune machine parameters such as speed, temperature, and pressure.
• Conduct first article inspections to ensure product quality meets specifications post-setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues or minor machine malfunctions.
• Document setup parameters, changeover times, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup and changeovers within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving equipment issues.
• Understanding of manufacturing quality standards and safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, SMED).
• Familiarity with basic CAD software for tooling or fixture review.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting or programming experience.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
