Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization to ensure material availability while minimizing carrying costs.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and procurement of raw materials and components to meet production demands.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the materials management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze demand forecasts and production schedules to ensure accurate material planning and prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Implement and maintain effective materials management systems (e.g., ERP/MRP) to streamline operations and data accuracy.
• Monitor and report on key materials metrics such as inventory turns, on-time delivery, and material cost variances.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for inventory planning and control
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory optimization, forecasting, and supplier relationship management
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced supply chain planning software (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
