Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and leadership roles within the manufacturing facility.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and company policies specific to a manufacturing setting.
• Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, development plans, and succession planning for all plant personnel.
• Identify training needs and develop programs for skills development, safety, and leadership for manufacturing teams.
• Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs, including wage reviews for hourly and salaried employees.
• Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with operational goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor relations, employment law, and compliance specific to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage talent acquisition, development, and retention for a production workforce.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership on strategic HR initiatives and operational goals.
• Proficiency in HRIS and ensuring compliance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) relevant to manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, to support a diverse workforce.
• Experience with HR technology solutions tailored for manufacturing environments, such as advanced time & attendance or complex shift scheduling systems.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing initiatives to enhance workplace safety culture.
