Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various testing devices and schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Program, troubleshoot, and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control systems.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC), and company policies.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely repairs to restore production.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs).
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Experience with electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, control panels, and distribution equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventative maintenance on electrical machinery and components.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting experience
• Robotics electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with instrumentation and process control systems
• Advanced Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) commissioning and optimization knowledge
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like SAP PM or Maximo
