Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in a manufacturing plant.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in production machinery and facility infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure operational reliability.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Execute wiring, conduit installation, and termination for new equipment and upgrades.
  • Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and control systems.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, electrical codes (NEC), and lockout/tagout procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license or completion of an accredited industrial electrician apprenticeship program.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and sensors.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • PLC programming proficiency beyond basic troubleshooting
  • Experience with robotic systems maintenance and troubleshooting
  • NFPA 70E Arc Flash Safety training/certification
  • Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and documentation
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and optimization
