Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, control systems, and power distribution.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and safety.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC), and company policies.
• Calibrate, test, and adjust electrical instruments and control devices.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
• Proven experience with industrial control systems, PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley), VFDs, and motor controls.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Thorough understanding of NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout procedures, and other industrial safety standards.
• Experience with industrial power distribution systems and instrumentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and advanced diagnostics experience
• Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems
• Familiarity with SCADA or CMMS software platforms
• High voltage (e.g., 4160V, 13.8kV) distribution experience
