Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grand Haven seeking Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
• Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor process performance.
• Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues to determine root causes and implement solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
• Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software packages
• Knowledge of CMM programming and operation
