Salary Range: $48,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving associates.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counting.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics for timely material flow.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, such as forklifts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in shipping/receiving roles within a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team
• Expertise in inventory management systems and WMS software
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and DOT regulations
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to optimize workflow processes

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ERP system for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email) for record-keeping and communication.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting on shipping equipment (e.g., label printers, scales).
