Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Holt that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and systems.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to optimize material flow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies or issues.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and train a small team.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards in manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) and their application in a warehouse environment.
• Proven ability to train and mentor junior team members on shipping and receiving best practices.
• Experience with international shipping regulations and customs documentation.
