Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Wayland that are seeking skilled Shop Foremans. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and production schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of shop equipment and machinery.
• Manage inventory of materials and tools, and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proven ability to interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and quality control standards
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software for reviewing designs.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).
