Salary Range: $75,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Delta Township that are seeking Supplier Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality surveillance plans.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for supplier-related quality issues.
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to qualify new suppliers and parts.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and delivery.
• Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions and control plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in core quality tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D problem solving).
• Experience conducting supplier audits and assessments.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certifications
• Experience with advanced quality planning tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC)
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R)
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, injection molding, welding)
• Knowledge of relevant industry-specific quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
