Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Zeeland region seeking Six Sigma Black Belts. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma projects from initiation to closure, delivering significant financial savings and process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other project team members in Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Develop and implement robust data collection strategies and perform advanced statistical analysis to identify root causes and validate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Drive cultural change by promoting a data-driven decision-making approach and continuous improvement mindset across the organization.
• Report project progress, results, and challenges to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
• Train and certify employees in Six Sigma principles and tools, building internal capability and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (AI, ML, IoT) in a manufacturing context.
• Lean-Agile certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist, LeSS Practitioner).
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and coaching Green Belts or other junior practitioners.
• Experience with advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python with statistical libraries).
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
