Salary Range: $57,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grandville that are seeking Staff Accountants. Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory, cost of goods sold, and other manufacturing expenses.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and provide insights into production costs and efficiencies.
• Support external audits by preparing requested documentation and explanations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation for manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand cost drivers and improve financial accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Experience with inventory accounting and analysis
