Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Cadillac seeking Shop Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation.
• Manage and mentor shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage raw material procurement.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain to resolve production issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years experience in a supervisory or management role
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards
• Experience with production scheduling and resource allocation
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MES)
