Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Otsego that are seeking skilled Production Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets.
• Monitor production performance and make adjustments to optimize output.
• Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure products meet established standards.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production management, with a proven track record of meeting production targets.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators.
• Proficient in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other production management software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
