Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install and configure new robotic cells and peripheral equipment.
• Develop and optimize robotic programs for various manufacturing tasks.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
• Train production staff on the safe operation and basic troubleshooting of robotic equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI configuration.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures in an industrial environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with a variety of robot programming languages beyond teach pendant (e.g., Python, C++).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for integrating robotic workcells.
• CAD software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for cell layout and fixture design.
• Certifications in specific robot brands or safety standards (e.g., RIA, OSHA).
