Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotics.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal robot performance and longevity.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
• Program and re-program industrial robots for new tasks and improved efficiency.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize robotic processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex robotic system issues.
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI configuration.
• Ability to perform precision mechanical assembly and calibration of robotic components.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems and their integration into robotic cells.
• Familiarity with various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi) beyond just Allen-Bradley.
• Proficiency in a programming language like Python or C++ for scripting and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior technicians or production staff on new robotic systems.
