Salary Range: $78,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Delta Township that are seeking IATF Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external IATF 16949 certification audits, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.
• Lead problem-solving activities using methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone, focusing on root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Facilitate APQP activities, including FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and PPAP submissions, to ensure new product and process quality.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and generate reports to monitor performance and support strategic quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on supplier quality management, including supplier selection, development, and non-conformance resolution.
• Provide training and mentorship on IATF 16949 requirements and quality tools to manufacturing personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Proven ability to lead problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Experience with internal and external quality audits and supplier quality management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) tools beyond the core APQP requirements, such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or Robust Engineering.
• Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 or ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in statistical software beyond basic Minitab, such as R, Python, or JMP, for advanced data analysis and predictive modeling.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to the global automotive industry (e.g., German, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese).
