Salary Range: $77,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Spring Lake that are seeking skilled IATF Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external certification audits to ensure ongoing IATF 16949 compliance.
• Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) to address non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and launch to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions using methodologies like 8D.
• Experience with internal and external audits, including customer-specific requirements.
