Operations Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $109,000 - $158,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Whitehall that are seeking skilled Operations Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics to minimize waste and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve production issues and improve product design.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and productivity
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
