Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Byron Center seeking Payroll Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage timekeeping systems and integrate data for payroll processing in a manufacturing environment.
• Calculate and process special payments such as bonuses, shift differentials, and production incentives.
• Administer payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and 401k contributions, ensuring compliance.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for finance, HR, and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and time off in a professional and timely manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience processing payroll for a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG) with a strong understanding of timekeeping systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and union contracts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
