Salary Range: $104,000 - $151,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking Operations Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
• Lead, train, and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and quality control, to achieve company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and productivity
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
• Proficient in using ERP systems and other manufacturing software

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software like SAP or Oracle.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage change initiatives within an operations environment.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP).
