Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability and testability of new products.
• Lead and participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
• Define and implement production control plans, including tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during new product ramp-up.
• Establish and monitor key process indicators (KPIs) for new product performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and software issues.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and quality control.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD) for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) for test automation and scripting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) integration.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead small project teams.
